The invariable temperature makes this beautiful island a must visit destination year round.

During the winter months, temperatures in Antigua are around 23 – 24 degrees Celsius. During the summer months, however, the temperature stays between 28 and 31 degrees. PalmTrees


During the evening and night times the temperature can drop around 2 – 4 degrees. One can end up feeling slightly chilly due to the steady trade winds from the northeast. As one can imagine, the hottest hours on Antigua and Barbuda are between midday and mid afternoon in the summertime.


Weather reports frequently report expected rain on the island, but mostly it ends up with just a few clouds passing over. Being one of the sunniest, driest islands in the Caribbean, the annual average rainfall is only 45inches. Showers that do occur only last approximately 10 minutes at a time and can be rather heavy.  October through to December are traditionally the months in which the majority of rainfall occurs. Low Humidity is also a year-round feature to Antigua’s weather.

From the beginning of June to the end of November it is Hurricane season and in recent years there have been 6 direct hits (50 year long period). After hurricane season, during the winter months, is the best tiem to visit the Island.
